Saturday Itinerary

• ~6:30 am: EAT Before you arrive
  • Report time FHS STUDENTS WEAR SHOW SHIRT FOR REHEARSAL –
  • MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR BLACK SOCKS AND SHOES FOR REHEARSAL AND THE SHOW SHIRT!!!
  • Sound System, drum major ladders, podium and field set up location TBD (field/stadium)
• ~6:40 am: Quick warm-up WINDS in Band Room –
• 7:20 am: depart for Lucas Oil
• 8:00 am: Arrive LOS lot
• 8:50 am: Enter SW tunnel
• 9:00-9:15 am: Physical Warm-up
• 9:15-9:45 am: Music Warm-up
• 9:00-9:30 am: Front Ensemble Warm-up
• 9:35 am: Front Report time
• 9:50 am: Band Report Time
• ~10:00 am: First possible performance should we draw first within the top 20 bands…
  • HOPEFULLY we go on way later 😉
  • MEAL TIMES WILL BE PROVIDED LATER AS WELL – PLEASE SEND $25 with your student should we have to stay at Lucas Oil if we make finals…
    • Scenario 1: we go on early for Semi Finals – we would come back to FHS and have dinner provided by BBO
    • Scenario 2: we go on later and make finals – we would eat at concessions and reconvene downtown as group.
    • Scenario 3: we go on later and don’t make finals and we go to dinner as a group
• 5:00 pm: PRESENTATION OF AWARDS
  • All Competing Band Drum Majors…Mr. Kohler will immediately send message about Finals schedule
• 5:30 pm: Finalist Directors Meeting Stadium Cleared and Dinner Break
  • This is the meeting where the Finals Schedule is determined.
• ~6:15 pm; GATES OPEN for FINALS
• ~6:20 pm: Enter SW tunnel
• ~6:30-6:45 pm: Physical Warm-up A
• ~6:45-7:15 pm: Musical Warm-up A
• ~6:30-7:00 pm: Front Ensemble Warm up time
• ~6:45 pm: National Anthem
• ~7:05 pm: Front Ensemble Report time
• ~7:20 pm: Band Report time
• ~7:30 pm: First Performing Finalist Band
• 10:45 pm: Finals Competition Ends – FULL RETREAT
• 11:15 pm: FINALE – PRESENTATION OF AWARDS
• 11:30 pm: LOAD BUS AND DEPART FOR FHS!
• ~12:10-12:20am: TENTATIVE ARRIVAL FHS – UNLOAD, go Home 🙂
