Saturday – Grand Nationals

- ~6:30am EAT Before you arrive – Report time FHS STUDENTS WEAR SHOW SHIRT FOR REHEARSAL – MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR BLACK SOCKS AND SHOES FOR REHEARSAL AND THE SHOW SHIRT!!! Sound System, drum major ladders, podium and field set up location TBD (field/stadium)
- ~6:40am Quick warm-up WINDS in Band Room –
- 7:20am depart for Lucas Oil
- 8:00am Arrive LOS lot
- 8:50am Enter SW tunnel
- 9:00-9:15am Physical Warm-up
- 9:15-9:45am Music Warm-up
- 9:00-9:30am Front Ensemble Warm-up
- 9:35am Front Report time
- 9:50am Band Report Time
- 10:00am Report time
- 10:00am First possible performance should we draw first in within the top 20 bands…HOPEFULLY we go on way later 😉
- MEAL TIMES WILL BE PROVIDED LATER AS WELL – PLEASE SEND $25 with your student should we have to stay at Lucas Oil if we make finals…
Possible Scenarios for Saturday Afternoon
- Scenario 1: we go on early for Semi Finals – we would come back to FHS and have dinner provided by BBO
- Scenario 2: we go on later and make finals – we would eat at concessions and reconvene downtown as a group.
- Scenario 3: we go on later and don’t make finals and we go to dinner as a group
PRESENTATION OF AWARDS is at 5 PM
All Competing Band Drum Majors …Mr. Kohler will immediately send message about Finals schedule
If we don’t make finals, students will have the opportunity to go back and watch Finals (tickets are $35) they should also bring additional money for concessions

- ~6:15pm GATES OPEN for FINALS
- ~6:20pm Enter SW tunnel
- ~6:30-6:45pm Physical Warm-up A
- ~6:45-7:15pm Musical Warm-up A
- ~6:30-7:00pm Front Ensemble Warm up time
- ~6:45pm National Anthem
- ~7:05pm Front Ensemble Report time
- ~7:20pm Band Report time
~7:30pm First Performing Finalist Band - 10:45pm Finals Competition Ends – FULL RETREAT
- 11:15pm FINALE – PRESENTATION OF AWARDS
- 11:30pm LOAD BUS AND DEPART FOR FHS!
- ~12:10-12:20a TENTATIVE ARRIVAL FHS – UNLOAD, go Home 🙂
