Itinerary for State Finals

• 11:40am EAT BEFORE YOU ARRIVE – Report time @ FHS STUDENTS WEAR PINK SHOW SHIRT – MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR BLACK SOCKS (LONG SOCKS!!!! COMPLETELY BLACK AND SHOES
• 11:50am Sound System, drum major ladders, podium and field set up location TBD (field/stadium)
• 12:00pm Rehearsal Begins (Marching Technique/Body Block) (Music Warm-up) Chunks, Run-throug
• 1:45pm Slight break – BRING a light sack SNACK
• 3:45pm FINAL Run-through
• 4:00pm Load Trucks – STATE FINALS DINNER, provided by Band Boosters – CAFE A TIGER WHITE depart early!
• 5:20pm Depart for LOS – in uniform Follow the times below…. PROP managers and Equipment parents, please note that we have a half hour to unload and get everything ready
• 8:00pm FISHERS PERFORMANCE – CANDIDE SWEET
• 8:15pm AFTER PERFORMANCE – ALL props and equipment return to trucks. Students will return in FULL uniform for State Finals retreat
• 11:30pm Depart for FHS 12:00am Arrive and Unload …CLEAN BAND ROOM, LGI AND PERC ROOM

Ticket Sales:

If you did not purchase tickets through your school, you will need to get your tickets at the Lucas Oil Stadium ticket windows located at the Northeast corner, or Southeast corner of the stadium close to Capitol Avenue. The windows are on street level across from the Post Office. No tickets are sold at the entrances. ENTRY INTO THE STADIUM WILL BE THROUGH THE NORTH AND WEST ENTRANCE ONLY. Spectators who leave the stadium must receive a hand stamp if they plan to return to the stadium later in the day. Hand Stamps will be available from LOS personnel at the NORTH and WEST ENTRANCES. (Official ISSMA-issued Director Passes or Personnel Passes do not require a hand stamp for re-entry.) Admission will be $22.00 for adults and $18.00 for students and pre-schoolers. Babies under two years of age, carried in arms and not occupying a seat, will be admitted free.

Stadium Seating:

Gates will open at 9:00 am. Scholastic Champion Exhibition performances will begin at 9:25 am. There are no reserved seats for this event. Spectators entering from the West Concourse must enter through the center doors of the West Club and exit through the side doors via the aisle between Sections 142 & 143 or the aisle between Sections 137 & 138. This is similar to the procedures followed at a Colts home game. PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK LARGE SECTIONS OF SEATS FOR YOUR SCHOOL. ALL FANS SHOULD HAVE A FAIR CHANCE TO FIND THE SEAT OF THEIR CHOICE. COATS, AND OTHER PERSONAL ITEMS, LEFT IN SEATS FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME WILL BE CONFISCATED BY SECURITY. It is extremely important to plan and arrive early. ACCESS TO SEATING AREAS WILL BE CLOSED DURING THE LAST TWO BANDS OF EACH CLASS, UNTIL AFTER AWARDS. If you leave your seat during this time, you will NOT be re-admitted until after the awards for that class.

ADA Accessibility:

All entrances are ADA accessible. The northeast and southwest corners of the facility offer drop-off and pickup areas. Reserved parking for spectators with disabilities is located in the lot south of the facility via South Gate #6 off Capitol Avenue. This is not a General Admission gate. ADA accessible seating is available from the Street Level behind Sections 146, 143, 142, 138, 137 and 135.

Monumental Marathon:

Due to the running of the annual “Monumental Marathon”, many streets in the downtown area east and north of Lucas Oil Stadium will be closed until early afternoon. Those arriving early in the day should approach the stadium from the west or south for access to Lucas Oil Stadium.

Parking:

Public parking is available throughout the downtown area – Many lots are within walking distance to the stadium. There is also a parking garage available off West Street and south of South Street.

Programs:

Official full-color souvenir programs will be on sale throughout the stadium. Price: $5.00 each.

Official ISSMA T-Shirts:

Souvenir T-Shirts will be on sale in the North and West Concourse area. The price is $20.00. Credit/Debit cards may be used for purchases at the T-shirt tables.

Concessions:

Many types of food and soft drinks are sold in the stadium. You will also find many eateries throughout the downtown area. Your ticket is good for all day, so you may leave the stadium and return for re-admittance if you have your hand stamped prior to leaving the stadium. No food or drink may be carried into the stadium. Video & Photography: Due to copyright laws, absolutely no video recording of today’s performances is permitted without prior documentation of synchronization rights having been presented to ISSMA, Inc. Photography at any ISSMA event may be used solely for local media and personal usage. Any sales or distribution of photos or videos from an ISSMA event distributed in a means other than from ISSMA official vendors is strictly prohibited. Admittance to the field is restricted to ISSMA certified photographers and event personnel.

Representatives of Performing Arts Photography by Bateman and Balfour Jewelry can be found in the North Lucas Oil Plaza. All State Finals performers are eligible for Official Award Jewelry. ISSMA will have a commemorative State Finals Marching Band patch available for sale. Patches and Rockers will not be available at the event site. See your director for details.
